A Memphis clothing brand, built from nothing.
URBXNX sells Memphis-made two-piece sets. No store, no site, no online anything. UrbenWorks built the whole storefront from scratch, so the brand looks like itself instead of a theme everyone else is using.
Project overview
URBXNX is a Memphis clothing brand. Its first drop is a two-piece set, sold direct, with free local pickup and delivery in Memphis.
The brand had a name, a look, and a product. What it did not have was anywhere to sell. No website, no storefront, no way for a customer who saw the sets to actually buy one.
UrbenWorks built the entire store: the design, the shop, the cart, the email list, and the hosting it runs on.
The challenge
A new clothing brand gets judged on its website in about two seconds. If the site looks like a stock template, the clothes look like stock clothes.
- It had to look like the brand, not like a theme. Pink, black, loud, and confident. A look you cannot get out of a dropdown menu.
- It had to sell, not just display. A lookbook does not take money. The site needed a real shop page and a real cart.
- It had to carry the Memphis angle. Local pickup and delivery is a genuine advantage over a brand shipping from anywhere.
- It had to be ready for a drop. Limited runs sell out. The site needed a way to collect emails before the next one.
The solution
A storefront written from scratch. No Shopify theme, no page builder, no template.
- A brand-first homepage. Full-bleed campaign imagery, the UX mark front and centre, and "Wear Your Confidence" as the first thing you read.
- A real shop. A Shop Sets page, a product page, and a working cart, built as part of the site rather than bolted on.
- The Memphis promise up top. Free Memphis pickup and delivery runs across the very top of every page.
- An email list for drops. "Be The First To Know" collects customers before the next run goes live.
- The boring, necessary parts. Privacy policy, terms, order tracking, and a help page. The things that make a new brand look real.
Store showcase
The live homepage, captured today.

The campaign image does the selling. The nav stays out of the way: Home, Shop Sets, About, Contact.

Where a visitor goes from liking the look to picking a size.

Clothing gets bought on phones. The layout is built for that first.
Features & functionality
Everything below is live on the store today.
Hand-built in React. Not a Shopify theme, not a template anyone else can buy.
A product page with sizes and a working cart, built into the site itself.
Free Memphis pickup and delivery, stated on every page before anything else.
"Be The First To Know" captures customers ahead of the next limited run.
Track Order, My Account, and a Help page, so buying feels safe.
Real policy pages, live from day one rather than added after a complaint.
urbxnx.com, secured, with the bare domain redirecting to www.
Built in, ready for the catalogue to grow past one set.
A proper business address on the brand's own domain.
Card payments through Square, so the store takes money without ever handling card details itself.
The shop reads real inventory from Square and refuses checkout once a colour sells out.
The results
What was delivered, and is running today.
No website existed before this. There is one now, on the brand's own domain.
Custom design throughout. Nobody else's store looks like this one.
A shop page, a product page, and a cart, not a lookbook.
The email list is live and gathering names before the next drop.
Valid HTTPS, fast hosting, and the bare domain pointed at www.
Privacy, terms, tracking and help. Live, not promised.
